چکیده
Background. The main problem in the patient selection for cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) is lack of unified approaches to definition mechanical dyssynchrony (MD) and criteria. Objective. To reveal dependence criteria patients on method point stimulation correlation these data with width QRS complex percentage global two-dimensional longitudinal deformation. Design methods. study involved 12 drug-compensated CHF class II-IV, LVEF< 35 % a duration >130 ms, having CRT indications. All were intraoperatively injected retrograde transaortically guided electrode. During each (88 points), transesophageal Echo-KG (PE Echo-KG) was performed. TomTec Philips Qlab 3DQ Advanced software used analysis. Results. segmental excursion myocardial contractility differed significantly depending point. A moderate inverse found between ExcAvg, LVEF duration. There direct SDI-16 shown, an ExcAvg LVEF. 2D strain inversely correlated EF. Assessment of left ventricular dyssynchrony by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography.
INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVES A number of different imaging methods have been proposed as possible tools for assessing left ventricular (LV) mechanical dyssynchrony. The aim of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of real-time three-dimensional echocardiography (RT3DE) for studying LV mechanical dyssynchrony. METHODS In total, 60 individuals underwent RT3DE, including 10 healthy volunteers...
متن کاملReal-time three-dimensional echocardiography: a novel technique to quantify global left ventricular mechanical dyssynchrony.
BACKGROUND Left ventricular (LV) mechanical dyssynchrony (LVMD) has emerged as a therapeutic target using cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) in selected patients with chronic heart failure. Current methods used to evaluate LVMD are technically difficult and do not assess LVMD of the whole LV simultaneously. We developed and validated real-time 3D echocardiography (RT3DE) as a novel method ...
متن کاملRelationship between left ventricular diastolic dyssynchrony and systolic dyssynchrony in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy by single-cardiac real-time three-dimensional ultrasonography
The relationship between left ventricular diastolic and systolic dyssynchrony in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) was investigated by single-cardiac real-time three-dimensional ultrasonography. A total of 52 patients with HCM were selected in Jining No. 1 People's Hospital from July 2016 to June 2017. Additionally, a total of 52 healthy people were selected to serve as the control group. All p...
متن کاملQuantification of Right and Left Ventricular Function with Real-time Three-dimensional Ultrasound
Abstroct-This paper presents a study for validation of real-time three-dimensional ultrasound as a diagnostic tool in patients with primary pulmonary hypertension. Dynamic analysis of the heart is performed via quantification of right and left ventricle volumes. Segmentation of ventricular cavities is performed via a deformable-model for a set of denoised frames spread over an entire cardiac cy...
متن کاملSemi-automated quantification of left ventricular volumes and ejection fraction by real-time three-dimensional echocardiography
BACKGROUND Recent studies have shown that real-time three-dimensional (3D) echocardiography (RT3DE) gives more accurate and reproducible left ventricular (LV) volume and ejection fraction (EF) measurements than traditional two-dimensional methods. A new semi-automated tool (4DLVQ) for volume measurements in RT3DE has been developed. We sought to evaluate the accuracy and repeatability of this m...
